My love for makeup started unexpectedly. While studying at Tianjin University, I would often do my friends’ makeup for free whenever they needed to glam up for special occasions. Over time, I began to notice that I had a natural talent for it. I loved seeing the confidence that makeup brought out in people, and I realised that beauty was more than just appearance it was about enhancing and amplifying the beauty that already existed within each person. As I became more confident in my skills, I started offering makeup services from my dorm room. What started as a small passion project slowly began to grow, and within months, I realised that makeup was something I truly loved and wanted to pursue. With my growing passion for beauty, I decided to launch a premium range of mink lashes under Estars Cosmetics. The response was incredible. My lashes quickly became popular within the foreign community in China, and I found myself building a loyal customer base who believed in my brand and supported my vision. Behind every growing business is a team of people who believe in the dream, and I was fortunate to have the support of three amazing friends who played an important role during the early stages of Estars Cosmetics. Your support, dedication, and willingness to help bring my vision to life meant so much to me. You were part of the foundation that helped Estars grow, and I will always be grateful for the time, effort, and belief you invested into my dream. As Estars continued to grow, I began travelling across China to provide bridal makeup services, work on fashion shows, and connect with more people through the beauty industry. I later expanded the brand by launching my own lipstick and lip gloss collection, which sold out quickly every time it was released. Looking back, that was only the beginning of something much bigger. Estars Cosmetics was the first chapter of my journey the moment I discovered my love for creating, building, and inspiring through beauty. After graduating, I returned home to Papua New Guinea, where I was grateful to begin my first partnerships with Hannahs Beauty Box and Glow Boutique. These businesses believed in my brand and gave me the opportunity to have my lipsticks stocked in their stores. I am incredibly grateful to the owners of these businesses for taking a chance on me, supporting my vision, and being part of the early stages of my journey. This was where it all began, a small dream that started in a university dorm room in China and grew into something I never imagined. Every journey has a beginning, and Estars Cosmetics will always hold a special place in my heart because it was where I discovered my passion, built my confidence, and learned what it truly means to create something from the ground up.
